Learning through play with The Little Clay Club

The Little Clay Club was created out of a deep love for creating something out of nothing. This idea turned into a dream when Nafeesa Saban, founder of The Little Clay Club went on a journey to try to turn the gloom days of "lockdown" and "loadshedding" around. That is when the creative and housebound Nafeesa went through a gateway to Claytopia.

Poised with an idea and a love for clay creations the club started. Dinner parties, birthdays, play dates, and the occassional "Mrs Pottery, why can't you come do this at my school", paved the way for The Little Clay Club to make it's way to schools. We have changed to a full curriculum based structure that caters for all ages including neurodivergent students.

What We Offer:

Birthdays/Events

We provide lessons that fit into a theme for different occasions. Please enquire for more information as preparation is key for a successful Clay Day.

Packages start at R1000 for 10 children/adults.

Weekly/Monthly Lessons

Curriculum based lessons provided at schools that fit into the schools routine. This will include basic introduction to pottery and also numerous creations by the learner to take home.

One-on-One

During our experience it has shown that a one on one time with a student yields the maximum increase in the growth in terms of creativity, mentally and the drive that will enable the student to push through and improve all round.
