Find out how The Little Clay Club was established

Est. in 2021 as a pottery teaching facility

In recent years, budget concerns reduced art programs in schools (especially because of the "lockdown period"). There has been a lot of research about the importance of art in child development. From our experience as pottery artists we have a strong belief that few art mediums kindle growth and skills in children in the way that clay does.

The Little Clay Club

We cater to all ages

Before the offical establishing of The Little Clay Club we taught children (ages 3 to 15) at birthday parties and get togethers. During this time, we witnessed firsthand how invaluable the experience of working with clay is for sensory development, motor skills, self esteem, and self expression, problem solving skills, discipline, and pride. Using clay also has a uniquely therapeutic quality that we have seen settle and calm children as it retains their attention for hours.

Our Mission

The Little Clay Club is a teaching facility specializing in the enhancement of child development by providing a platform which, through proven teaching practices, develops the mind and body. We make use of pottery as a means to harness the unseen and underdeveloped mindset which, through our techniques promote creativity, practicality, and divergent thinking.

In life opportunities are all over but having the opportunity that your child will fully agree with is hard to find as Adults and Children have different interests but luckily Pottery Caters To ALL (Yes including you Mum!).

Fun Learning

At The Little Clay Club students will be taught theoretically and practically. Eg. Instead of just creating a sculpture, the students will be taught basic fundamentals regarding the process, along with feeling the achievment of creating the final product.

Guaranteed Work

Students will make all creations on there own so that they will truly be able to say they had completed the task. They will also be equiped with the knowledge to explain what they had done.

Resources

We will equip the students with the necessary knowledge and equipment needed in order to master the art of pottery through different levels in the curriculum. This will help the student excel in other areas of life.

Progress

At the Little Clay Club we pride ourselves in motivating students in all aspects. The students will be monitored at an individual level whereby the parent will recieve regularly updates and "end of term" reports in order to showcase the full progress of the student as a whole.
